Sometimes people don't notice the toy box in The Land of Unrealized Possiblities. Sometimes people don't realize you can 'open hatch' and 'enter rocket' when you're near the 1950[apostrophe]s rocket. Yes, there's one little puzzle and it involves the jack-in-the-box, but don't get too concerned about it. If you need any other help you can just email me at danieltalsky@gmail.com. I'm happy to help.".

You could be watching Better Call Saul or reading Fyodor Dostoevsky or playing pinball. Instead, you're taking the time to explore something I made and I really appreciate it. I had fun making this, but most of the fun was imagining you doing what you're doing right now. Reading the credits. No, I mean playing the game.".

[Nicer default description of things with no description.]

The description of a thing is usually "You look at [the noun] very closely indeed, and to be completely honest, it looks about how you'd expect. You think for a moment that there might be something slightly special about it but then, upon looking just a little closer, you see that there isn't."

[talking/whistling]

A thing can be puppy-throwable. A thing is usually not puppy-throwable.

Instead of jumping: say "Ok, this is weird, but for some reason, jumping doesn[apostrophe]t appear to work here. You bend your knees and then shove away from the earth with a snap like you're used to, but your feet don't leave the ground. It's a little disconcerting, sure, but it doesn't really change your life."

Understand "kick [something]" as attacking.

Instead of waiting: say "You stop doing anything for exactly [a random number from 12 to 234] seconds. Nothing seems to have changed in that time."

Xyzzying is an action out of world applying to nothing. Understand "xyzzy" as xyzzying. Carry out xyzzying: say "You feel the temperature shift briefly a little warmer, and then back to normal. The air shimmers for a moment. The very fabric of the universe quivers in anticipation. Nothing actually changes, though."

The print empty inventory rule response (A) is "You examine what you'd normally use to carry things, all the way from fingertip to elbow. As you suspected, nothing is contained there. You briefly check for pockets or some kind of fanny pack. There isn't anything like that. You are forced to conclude that you have no possessions."
